New Hurricane Florence Resource Guide Now Available

September 20, 2018

The UNC Law Library has created a new Hurricane Florence Resource Guide. This guide includes a collection of online resources intended to help the North Carolina community seek information on disaster relief efforts for those impacted by Hurricane Florence. There are many unreliable resources on the Internet, and an effort was made to include only those resources that are trustworthy.

The guide includes Federal and North Carolina government resources for those seeking help after the hurricane. For those who are looking for ways to contribute, there is information on organizations seeking donations or other support. Either way, please be aware of scams such as fake charities or unreliable contractors. A section of this guide is devoted to resources that can help in identifying scams.
