Sure, you know that UNC Law Library offers digital study aids, but there’s so much more at your fingertips than just eBooks. Welcome to this two-part series, where we dive into the myriad of resources available to you and explore how to use these study aids effectively to prepare for your finals.

Audiobooks
Prefer to listen to your legal study aids? Then, we’ve got you covered!
Aspen Learning Library has a tab dedicated to audio titles, which includes the In Other Words audio series and the Aspen Aloud series. The In Other Words series features audio lectures from legal experts on specific topics. The Aspen Aloud series has audio summaries of the main topics of 1L and 2L subject areas. Create an account to save bookmarks and remember where you left off.
Lexis Digital Library has an Audio Study Guides collection of the Understanding series. You can stop listening and start again where you left off without signing up for an individual account.
West Academic also provides access to multiple audio books including A Short & Happy Guide, Nutshells, High Court Case Summaries, and Law School Legends Audio on a variety of topics and subjects. Create a West Academic account and download the West Academic audio app to listen to an audio title offline.
Video
There are also video series for those who prefer to watch their digital study aids.
On Aspen Learning, the In Other Words series also includes video lectures covering fundamental law topics.
West Academic contains a smaller collection of videos which includes the Office Hours series, a collection of short audio and video tracks that answer the questions professors frequently receive during office hours.

Once you create an account on West Academic, you can access the Cold Call Companion series. Geared to specific subjects, the series provides deep dives into seminal cases, providing videos, case briefs, key vocabulary, and quizzes with links to resources to help expand your knowledge.
