New Legal Research Guide: Military Law Research

April 16, 2020

The UNC Law Library is pleased to announce the creation and publication of a new Military Law legal research guide to support students currently working with the Military and Veterans Law Clinic or taking military law courses.

The guide is divided into three sections: Military Justice Law, the Law of Armed Conflict, and National Security Law. Within each of these topics, the guide highlights primary legal sources, provides multiple database and website options for locating those sources, and discusses some of the unique differences involved in military law research.

Be sure to check out the Military Law Research guide, and please let the law library know if you have any questions. Historical research in this area can be especially tricky, but reference librarians are available to help!
