Attend “Data Day” on Wednesday, October 24th!

On Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 from 9AM to 12PM, the North Carolina Government and Heritage Library will host “Data Day,” a free informational presentation to provide the public with demographic data about the state and its component geographic area. You can attend in person at the State Library/ Archives Building or view a live stream here.

According to the State Library of North Carolina, “Data Day” will help attendees learn to explore North Carolina statistics by subject; find socio-economic data even for small areas; locate single age information and county population data up to 2037; and find timely reliable demographic data without waiting a decade.

Presenters will include Michele Hayslett, Numeric Data Services and Data Management Librarian at UNC Chapel Hill, and Bob Coats, Governor’s Census Liaison. For more information about this program, please visit this website.
