September 23, 2025

With the semester in full swing, the law library has just completed updates to the Digital Study Aids by Legal Topic Resource Guide. These digital resources are available to the UNC Law community through the library and cover every area of law from administrative law to torts. A few of the latest study aids are highlighted below:

  • Concepts and Insights: Administrative Law, 4th Ed. (2025) (West Academic)
This updated edition includes changes in law that have taken place since the previous (2020) edition, particularly the Supreme Court opinion in Axon Enterprise v. FTC, 598 U.C. 174 (2023).
The 2025 supplement to North Carolina Contract Law brings this comprehensive legal treatise up to date with the most recent North Carolina decision on contract law.
Major changes have occurred in the area of environmental law, and the 10th edition to this classroom prep tool incorporates Clean Air Act amendments, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) amendments, the Chevron overruling, and multiple recent Supreme Court decisions.
  • International Human Rights in a Nutshell, 6th Ed. (2025) (West Academic)
The Sixth edition incorporates the continuing internal and international armed conflicts that have brought increased attention to the interaction of humanitarian law and international human rights law including the civil war in Syria, the broader conflict in the Mid-East, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and other crises in Africa and Central Asia.

Regardless of what area of law you’re studying, the library has the latest study guides from Aspen Learning Library, LexisNexis, and West Academic available in our LibGuide to support your learning.
