How to Find New Books in the Law Library

The Law Library receives many more new books than just those that appear on the new books shelf near the circulation desk. Here’s how to find a list of those books:

• Go to the Law Library website at https://library.law.unc.edu.
• Click on “New Books” underneath the search box.
• On the next page, select the time period you’re interested in learning that new titles were added (the last week, the last month, the last three months, or on order)
• Click on “Browse”

The list that comes up is of all the new books at every library on campus. To refine your search to new books only in the Law Library, find the Location filter on the left side of the screen. If the Law Library isn’t among the list shown, click on “Show more…,” then click on “Law Library.” All of the new books that were made available in the Law Library for the time period you selected will be displayed.
