If you want to gain confidence in your legal research skills for your summer employment, join the reference librarians for
Prep for Practice Intensive Legal Research Workshop!
Reference librarians will discuss real-world research questions. You'll learn how to tackle work assignments and brush up on your research skills.
- In one quick session you will get a hands-on refresher in case law, statutes, secondary sources and various online materials. The librarians will walk you through the best research strategies so you are ready for anything that may be thrown at you this summer. This is useful for any professor's RA, Judge's clerk and students going to law firms.
-
JJC participants can participate in the Prep for Practice workshop. The Prep for Practice workshop will neither help nor hinder a student's JJC writing. Prep for Practice is designed to help students with summer employment work and projects.
