There are two computer kiosks with twelve computers opposite the Reference Desk on the fourth floor of the library whose primary purpose is to access the online catalog. Printing is available for a fee and requires a UNC-Chapel Hill OneCard or a library copy card. These computers are available during all Law Library hours.
In addition, there are two public computers on the third floor, two public computers on the second floor, and one public computer on the first floor of the library for use while locating materials in the library stacks.
Two public scanners are available on the fourth floor of the Library. These machines include a sheet-fed and a face-up open book scanner.
There are six computers in the Electronic Learning Center. This is the Law Library's computer-based teaching facility and may be used by Carolina Law students when not in use for classes. The room is open during all Law Library hours. Carolina Law students may print from these computers to Carolina Law student printers in the upper level of the rotunda and the rumpus room or to the ITS (CCI) printers in room 3045. These computers require a UNC Chapel Hill onyen and password. Access is limited to the Carolina Law Community.
