How Do I Get Wireless Access Wireless access is available throughout the building housing Carolina Law and the Kathrine R. Everett Law Library. Guest wireless access is available to visitors bringing their own laptop or device with 802.11 wireless (Wi-Fi) capability. UNC Law Students and Faculty Students and faculty should use the secure UNC wireless networks (UNC-Secure or UNC-PSK). The wireless network, UNC-1 is being phased out. The Guest wireless network only provides limited access. UNC-Secure and UNC-PSK permit access to ITS wireless printing, Law School Printing, and Law School Exam software. See Connecting to the UNC Networks for instructions on registering and configuring your wireless card. The password for UNC-PSK is changed twice a year. Law students and faculty having trouble connecting to the wireless network can contact the Law School IT department: Law School IT is located in Room 5128 Submit a help ticket (http://www.law.unc.edu/ithelp/) Call 919-962-5486 Other UNC Chapel Hill Students, Faculty, and Staff Other UNC-Chapel Hill students, faculty, and staff wishing to log on to the UNC network should use the secure UNC wireless networks (UNC-Secure or UNC-PSK). UNC affiliates still having trouble connecting to the wireless network can contact UNC campus ITS: call ITS at 962-HELP ask the online chat service visit the ITS Help Desk located in the bottom level of the Undergraduate Library Non-affiliate Guests The UNC-Guest wireless network (formerly named Tar-Heel) provides guest access network connectivity to those individuals without a UNC Onyen (authentication ID) and who are using the University Libraries for research.
