Toolbar for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox
This toolbar allows searches of the UNC library catalog, Triangle Research Libraries catalog, and Webcat. LibX IE was tested using IE 7 on Windows XP and Vista. Installing it requires administrator privileges and it requires that .Net 2.0 is installed on the target computer. Though some have reported success installing it in IE 8 and/or Windows 7, this build has been not tested under these systems. Some users have reported adverse interactions (e.g., crashes) with some pages. Please install at your own risk; we highly recommend using the Firefox version instead. We also have an upcoming version of LibX for Google Chrome users.

Google allows users to maintain a customizable home page at iGoogle.com.
Each box -- or 'gadget' -- performs a different function and can be added or removed at will.
These gadgets provide access to some UNC Library resources.
