What kind of questions can I ask?This service is intended to assist you with brief research questions and any other questions you might have. Students may be asked to email a law librarian or to schedule a research appointment (919-962-1194) if you have a lengthy or involved question. Will I need to wait to chat with the law librarian?Patrons at the Reference Desk have priority over IM patrons. When is the service offered? The service is offered during regular reference desk hours. How can I IM a law librarian?The best way is to simply click on the chat button on the library's home page. The button will indicate whether there is a librarian online. If not, the link will open an email form. Your email will be answered when a librarian is available.
