Welcome to the Kathrine R. Everett Law Library!
Do you have the legal research skills you need to start work?
Each year UNC law librarians host a series of lunchtime classes to help students hone their legal research skills as they prepare for summer and first-year jobs. These sessions focus on practical research skills that law students will need on their first day of work at a firm, court, government agency, in-house, or elsewhere. Register Now!
An online Research Appointment form
is available for students who want to meet with a reference librarian for assistance with their research projects.
The Law Library has two tutorials available to explain how to use the online catalog. The first explains how to perform basic searches. The second explains how to perform more advanced searches in our catalog. There are additional tutorials now available about making research appointments, getting access to checked-out books, and reserving a study room.
